To make their USD0 productive, users can stake USD0 or purchase USD0++ on the secondary market. USD0 Liquid Staking Token (USD0++) is issued when a user locks their USD0 for 4 years. In return, they receive a composable and transferable USD0++ which provides rewards in USUAL tokens.
A holder of USD0 can stake their USD0 at any time to make them productive through a USD0 Liquid Staking Token (USD0++):
Locking USD0: The user stake their USD0 to convert them into USD0++ at the Swap Section.
1:1 Issuance: USD0++ are issued on a 1:1 basis with the staked USD0.
Locked Duration: The locked assets are immobilized for the maturity period of the USD0++. USD0++ can be subject to early redemption through various mechanisms.
